ALACARTE CATERING TO CREATE MEALS FOR OUTKAST AT CENTENNIAL OLYMPIC PARK
ALACARTE CATERING will be preparing meals for the much-anticipated reunion of Outkast and other Atlanta bands

ALACARTE CATERING will be preparing meals for the much-anticipated reunion of Outkast and other Atlanta bands and singers at Centennial Olympic Park’s sold-out concerts from September 26-28th. Outkast’s duo of Big Boi and Andre 3000 added Atlanta to their summer Counterpoint Music Festival Run and promises ‘special guests’ from former Atlanta residents – which might include Usher, Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri – to ‘drop’ in. (About 60,000 people are expected to descend on the downtown Atlanta park.)
ALACARTE CATERING’s Co-Owners Rhonda Miglioli of Alpharetta and Irina Clow of Douglassville look forward to creating meals and snacks throughout the day for the famous singers and their crews and agree that backstage catering is extremely gratifying, yet taxing. Preparation starts two days prior and ends two days after the three-day concert and the chefs will be up at 3AM the day of the shows – for a 17- or 18-hour day to cook, serve, and clean up.
“It’s no different than moving into a house,” stated Irina. Gourmet cuisine is not the norm, however. These celebrities and their backstage crews look for comfort food that’s tasty and high quality. “They want us to create healthy meals that remind them of home,” added Rhonda. And... it’s all a matter of attention and designing food that’s appealing and durable for their many hours of rehearsing and performing.
