Alexander High School FBLA Attends Fall Motivational Rally

Alexander High School FBLA

Twenty members of the Alexander High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended the Fall Motivational Rally at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia. The Rally is the kickoff event that brings Georgia FBLA member together to motivate students to be active and involved in their student organization at the local, state and even national levels. It is an excellent tool in getting members excited about the FBLA year as well as recruiting new members.

Students attended the general session where Alex Sheen was the keynote speaker. Mr. Sheen is the founder of “because I said I would,” an international non-profit and humanitarian organization dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. Students were excited and moved by Mr. Sheen’s story.

After the general session, students could take practice tests for their competitive events programs which begin in the winter. Students and advisers were able to spend a few hours at FBLA Day at the Georgia National Fair getting to know one another and enjoying a beautiful day in South Georgia.
