"This would not have been possible without the outstanding coaches who coach with me, including Steve Duncan, Jeff Railey and Mike Camp," Robinson said. "Steve, Jeff, and I have been coaching together for 14 years and without them, along with my wife Valli Robinson, this would not have been possible."
In addition to coaching, Robinson teaches Economics for seniors and World History for sophomores. He is married to Valli Robinson, media specialist at Alexander. Their son Mason is a freshman at the school.
State winners for USTFCCA Cross Country Coach of the Year were selected based on their team’s performance throughout the 2016 season, including team score and placement at the state championships, margin of victory, performance against rankings if available, individual championships, and how their team’s performance stacked up to previous years.
Robinson and the other state winners are in consideration for the association’s National High School Cross Country Coach of the Year award.
