Ready for Some (More) Football?
The Douglas County River Dogs are holding tryouts this weekend at Roundtree Recreation Center in Hiram.

Football is in the air as teams take to the field from little league to professional.
Add to that list the Douglas County River Dogs, who are going to bring professional football action to the area in March. They are holding tryouts Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. at 172 Shipp Circle, Hiram.
There is a $50 registration fee, which includes a T-shirt, physical and meal.

As a member of the National Developmental Football League, the River Dogs will offer tryouts for young men who have a passion for football and are seeking an opportunity to play NFL-rules football with a commitment to the team and using the opportunity to compete for a championship.
The NDFL provides a platform for players who are looking to advance their skills to the next level, whether it be for college or the NFL. The NDFL is a developmental league for players after high school to gain experience and exposure.

The Douglas County River Dogs are looking for quality players in the Douglas County area from Douglasville, New Manchester, Lithia Springs, Chapel Hill and beyond to add to the team, which is established and preparing for the 2012 season, which opens March 6.
