This sweet mother and her two babies are available for adoption and ready to make someone very special and loving pets. Elizabeth is a doting mother and the two babies are as sweet as can be. Come see them and all the other beautiful and loving cats available for adoption at the Douglas County Animal Shelter this week.

Pet listings on each of these pages are updated daily; therefore, some animals featured may be adopted prior to your arrival at the shelter. That after all is the goal. Adoption fees for dogs and cats at DCAC is $25 and there is a $10 micro chip fee. $35 for the opportunity to make a friend for life and the opportunity to give a fur kid a forever home is a small price to pay.  However, there are specials and special pricing for adoptions running all month on Dogs and Cats!

All dogs presently receive intake inoculations for kennel cough, parvo and distemper (cats receive distemper as part of a five way vaccination). All pets adopted from the shelter are required to have their rabies shots and be spayed or neutered within thirty days of adoption, unless they are kittens or puppies and they are given extended time.
