Free Seeds from Renee's Garden
Renee's Garden has teamed up with Plant Talk, a blog written by gardening author Val Easton, to give away free seeds.
Talk about good timing! Just the other day, I blogged about Renee's Garden, a wonderful mail order seed company based in California. Then today, I came across an offer for free seeds from Renee's company.
Seattle gardening author and speaker Val Easton, who writes a blog called Plant Talk, is teaming up with Renee's Garden to give away seeds to readers who leave a comment on Val's blog. Your comment should include a short list of "dream plants" you'd like to grow this year. Val will forward your list to Renee, who will then send you one or two packets of her choice. Pretty cool!

If you check out one of my recent blog posts, you'll see that I've already mentioned wanting to grow alpine strawberries. I may try them in hanging baskets, but as I recently mentioned in another post, I'm staying away from planting in strawberry jars. Even if you plant them with a hollow tube down the middle, to help carry water to the bottom and all the side pockets of the jar, it's still a hassle.
Now I think I'll post something else on Val's site, and see if I can score a packet or two of freebies. Hope you can too!
