Free Spay/Neuter Service!

As I walked through the much-improved Douglas County animal shelter, a sign caught my eye.  "FIX 'EM FREE  Own a Pit Bull? You can get your Pit fixed for free!! Low income and have pets at home?  You can get your pets fixed for free!!"

As a Pit Bull owner, I couldn't help but take notice and think that this service just saved me about a hundred bucks.   I took a photo of the sign and picked up one of the request forms, so that I could share this information with as many pet owners as possible.

The service is provided through May West's Spay & Neuter Programs.  If you are interested, I have attached a copy of the request form to this blog.

* This service is for pets and you cannot use it on relatives. :)
