The world of Linux is all around you. You use it on your phones (androids) on your tablets, Bank teller machines, your wireless routers and your Automobile computers. This is just a few technological spaces that Linux systems exists. There are hundreds of others and the list keeps growing everyday.

On this blog I am going to introduce you to a manual developed for the absoute beginners to start reading. This manual was developed by a company called Canonical and it gives you an insight into one of the premier Linux distribution in the world right now and it is called Ubuntu. Ubuntu is a South African zulu language word that attempts to describe the essence of goodness, community and wellness. The ubuntu linux operating system is one of the most successful distribution of the hundreds of Linux distritibution available. it is perfect for people who wants to use Linux as there computer operating system for the first time and its also perfect for medium to expert level users. 

So take time to browse the ubuntu website to get a feel for their philosophy and download the ubuntu cd image and read the manual for it which I have made available here.
