This was my first time to visit the Cobb Energy Centre. The Centre is beautiful. Completed in 2007 the towering glass and marble structure is a piece of art unto itself. The open layout is richly decorated in burgundy, black and gold. The Centre has their own attached parking garage, with a suitable fee of $6.
Now on to the show! I confess. I have never seen the movie “Young Frankenstein.” So stepping onto the balcony to take my seat, I had an open mind. Which was blown shortly thereafter.

The show takes you to Transylvania, and introduces you to the townsfolk. The lucky ones, who more or less survived the first Frankenstein’s monster. The Good Doctor has just passed, much to their delight.
The Castle was passed down to his Grandson; you got it, the Young Dr. Frankenstein. The scenery is very artfully done, and the transitions were flawless. I was impressed by the wonderful music and dancing. The adult humor and gags kept the audience in stitches.
Stitches, Frankenstein, get it? …..chirp…….chirp….…um…..okay, moving on!
The cast was phenomenal, who knew old Frankie could sing? I would suggest this for an adult audience. Some of the songs even made me blush, and that’s pretty hard to do!
So if you’re looking for a great night of unforgettable entertainment.
