My Perspective on Life Insurance

Life Insurance from the point of view of an insurance agent!

When death occurs we experience 3 different separations: Spiritual, the spirit that embodied that person is no longer responsive to you, to conversations or anyone else! Physical, upon burial the physical person is no longer there to touch, hug or kiss! Financial, once that person is gone, their financial contribution is gone and the spouse, child and other dependents are no longer provided for!

There is not much you can do about the first two, when our time comes up, we must go.  But, on the third separation we can help our families be better prepared for that unfortunate event.

---Since we live in a money based society, we need to make sure those left behind are somehow ok from a financial standpoint.  We can help families be better prepared by creating a life plan and execute it based on the needs and desires of the life insurance policy owner.  That way it becomes financially easier for the dependents to transition from having a bread winner to not having one.  At the very least a life insurance policy should cover burial expenses and provide for one year of living expenses.
