There's Nothing Like a Good Chardonnay

Chardonnay has the energy required to play with children all day and still be a cuddle puppy at your feet in the evening.

Chardonnay #4143

Chardonnay is a great little dog just waiting on a forever home. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender on May 12th. Chardonnay is a young and sweet little blond Lab mix female under a year old and weighing about 40 pounds. She has not been spayed yet. Chardonnay is still a puppy in many ways and she would be a great little dog for a young family to grow with. Chardonnay has the energy required to play with children all day long and still be a cuddle puppy at your feet in the evening. She loves to bounce and play and chase balls and retrieve. Come see Chardonnay today and let her show you just how special she is.

If you’re interested in adopting Chardonnay or any of the other dogs or cats, that are available, please visit the Douglas County Animal Shelter located at 1755 County Services Road (off Cedar Mountain Road). The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed to the public on Monday, but open to rescue organizations on Mondays.

Come see all the pets available on Rainbow Connections on Facebook or see our sister page Furbabies of DCAS.

Pet listings are updated frequently, however, animals featured may be adopted and that after all is the goal. If the pet you are interested in has been adopted, please consider giving another of the many available pets an opportunity to be your forever friend and allow them to show you just how special they each are when they are given a chance.

Adoption fees for dogs and cats at DCAC is $25 and there is a $10 micro chip fee. $35 for the opportunity to make a friend for life and the opportunity to give a fur kid a forever home is a small price to pay. All dogs presently receive intake inoculations for kennel cough, parvo and distemper (cats receive distemper) and all pets adopted from the shelter are required to have their rabies shots and be spayed or neutered within thirty days of adoption, unless they are kittens or puppies. The Douglas County Animal Shelter phone: 770-942-5961. If the line is busy, please keep trying as there is often limited staff to answer calls. However, messages left will be returned as time permits.
