Brenda Louise Porter, 63, Dies

Brenda Louise Porter, 63 of Austell, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17. She was born Sept. 9, 1950 in Atlanta, to the late Marvin William Jordan and Clara Frances Weldon Jordan.  She was a member of the Crossroads Full Gospel Church of Dallas.

Survivors are her husband, Johnny Garrett of Douglasville, daughter, Amanda Cooper of Woodland, AL, two grandchildren: Breonna Cooper and Chase Cooper, both of Woodland, AL; brothers: James “Jim” Jordan of Dallas, GA and Billy Jordan of Cartersville, many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, at 2 p.m. from the Crossroads Full Gospel Church of Dallas.

In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated.
