Cactus Car Wash Opens Saturday

Grand opening ceremonies at the Douglasville location will begin at 8:30 a.m. when Cherokee medicine man Chipa Wolfe will perform ancient cleansing rituals to bless the new facility and purge it of evil spirits.

Atlanta-based Cactus Car Wash announces the grand opening of its newest location in Douglasville on Saturday, July 21, at 8 a.m. The location at 2777 Chapel Hill Rd. features the brand’s familiar adobe-style building with 9,800 square feet of Southwestern décor and a real wood burning fireplace.

“We are excited to expand our presence in metro Atlanta and to offer customers in the Douglasville area an opportunity to experience our superior customer care and quality service,” said Cactus CEO Lennox D. Bundy II.

“This location is one of many we plan to open in the coming months in the Atlanta area.”

Grand opening ceremonies will begin at 8:30 a.m. Cherokee medicine man Chipa Wolfe will perform ancient cleansing rituals to bless the new facility and purge it of evil spirits. Any customer who purchases a car detailing in the first year of operation will be eligible for a monthly drawing to receive a free iPad.

The opening of the new facility will bring between 100 new jobs to the city of Douglasville and will be the company’s 14th store and fifth in the Atlanta area. Cactus will also open stores in Kennesaw and Vinings in the next several months, as well as a Midtown Express location.

Founded in 1996, Cactus Car Wash now operates fifteen successful locations in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Its Midtown Atlanta facility is the busiest car wash in America, and its Buckhead location was one of five businesses named “Business of the Year” by the Atlanta Journal-Consitution, the Buckhead Business Association and the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office in 2004.
