Come anytime between 11AM - 3PM, the event ends at 4PM
Join us for a special day on our farm, where you can create unforgettable memories with your dad. Enjoy complimentary cookies, sweet and unsweet tea, and water.
Includes 2 cups of 🥕carrots per paying person to feed the alpacas.
Complimentary 📸 photo opp area available with or without an alpaca, utilizing your personal camera or phone.
🏡 Note: We are an even-numbered house on the odd-numbered side of the road: GPS may indicate that we are located on the opposite side of the road.

Join Audrey Brookshire, with Safe Haven Wellness, for a one-hour, all-levels, yoga class while 12 Alpacas roam free amongst us. The class is rejuvenating, dynamic and relaxing. This is an all-levels class, as modifications will be introduced for beginners through advanced. This is a truly unforgettable and unique experience. Embrace the powerful benefits of traditional yoga, nature and animal therapy.
🍹**After, stay for mimosas or juice on us! Hang out with the beautiful creatures for a bit. 🚫**Please do not bring any glass items to the farm. ⏰**Please arrive ONLY 10-15 minutes early to fill out a general liability waiver, COVID-19 waiver and find a spot for your mat. **Please bring a mat. **You may want to bring a towel for underneath your mat, as we will be in a field. We encourage you to bring a water bottle.
**Please check the weather. Dress accordingly. We will warm up quickly during class!

The Church Street Farmers Market season runs on Tuesdays from 3pm to 6:30pm.
The Church Street Farmers Market features locally grown produce, cut flowers, homemade breads, jams, jellies, vinegars and sweets, meat and seafood, local raw honey, handmade crafts, soaps, candles, and more. The market also partners with Georgia Fresh For Less to double up to $50 of SNAP/EBT benefits for fresh produce.

We have openings on our Committee, and we hope some of you will be interested in joining us.
Under Article III of the Douglas County Democratic Committee Bylaws, we are hereby calling for nominations to fill vacant seats on the Committee.
Committee seats (formerly Post Seat Holder seats) are apportioned by county commission district. Those interested can find their county commission district through the My Voter Page (MVP) on the Georgia Secretary of State's website:&nbsp;<a href="https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/</a>
There are currently four committee seat vacancies:
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;District 1 (elected in gubernatorial election years)
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;District 2 (elected in presidential election years)
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;District 4 (elected in presidential election years)
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;At-large (countywide, elected in presidential election years)
Per Article III of the Douglas County Democratic Committee bylaws:
ARTICLE III
Membership, Committee Districts, and Election of Members
&nbsp;3.1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Any person age 18 and older who resides in and is registered to vote in Douglas County, Georgia, and who shall declare themselves to be a member of the Democratic Party, shall be entitled to membership in the DCDC.
3.2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Any member of the DCDC, who is registered to vote in the County for at least one year, is eligible to be elected to the County Committee.
3.3&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;DCDC shall consist of four (4) districts in relation to the Commission Districts of Douglas County. Each County Commission District will be allocated six (6) elected members, numbered one (1) through six (6). Except for at-large voting members, all members of DCDC — whether elected or otherwise appointed — must reside in the applicable designated county commission district. The DCDC will have two (2) voting members-at-large, who may reside anywhere in the county and serve a four- (4-) year term. These members-at-large are voting members and count toward a quorum.
3.4&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;DCDC members are to be elected by the Party District Caucus.
3.5&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Public notice of the election must be given by publishing the same in at least three of these venues: newspaper; public organ of general circulation; social media; broadcast media (radio or television); community website; or email to past and present members in Douglas County at least two (2) weeks preceding the election.
3.6&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Only DCDC members who reside in a particular county commission district and meet all other criteria may nominate or vote for a member from that district.
3.7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The DCDC Chair shall appoint chairs of party district caucuses.
3.8&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Half of the district committee posts (odd numbered) shall be elected in gubernatorial election years and half (even numbered) shall be elected in presidential election years.&nbsp;&nbsp;Election to any role in the DCDC will be by public ballot, either using a tally of a show of hands, publicly signed and read paper ballots or electronic resources such as Election Buddy.
Those interested can send their full name (as it appears on your voter registration), address, phone number and a current curriculum vitae (CV)/resume to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:chair@dcdems.org" target="_blank">chair@dcdems.org</a>. Put "Committee Nomination" in the subject line and include your county commission district in the email.
Nominations must be received by Friday, May 17, 2026. Elections will be held during the Committee’s general meeting on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at&nbsp;St. Julian’s Episcopal Church in Douglasville.

Current elected officials are prohibited from serving on the Committee.&nbsp;
Committee members will be expected to be active in outreach, fundraising, voter education, candidate recruitment, attend monthly Committee meetings and other essential activities.
