Cultural Arts Council Douglasville | Douglas County

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/ Douglas County displays another year of exceptional talent from across the country at the National Juried Arts Show.
The NJAS exhibit will be displayed September 2nd – 29th at the CAC gallery, Monday- Friday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. The opening reception and awards ceremony will be held on September 10th, 6:00-8:00 pm, hosted by the Douglas County Art Guild. Refreshments will be served, and the event is free and open to the public.
Come view the presentation of prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd&nbsp;place, Honorable Mention, and the DCAG award for a particularly remarkable work of art.
Come back throughout September to tour the exhibit and cast your vote for your favorite artwork. At the end of the month, one last cash prize will be presented for the People’s Choice award.

☔ The event is weather permitting, the festival takes place in a field and if we get too much rain before the event or if the forecast is calling for a lot of rain the day of we will have to cancel. Enjoy some good eats, while you shop for a good cause to support local, family-owned businesses, but it does not end there.... there will be play activities, bounce house, face painting, glitter tattoo, donkeys (interact at your own risk) and you also get to meet some awesome, gentle, friendly and oh so soft ALPACAS!
