Calling All Superheroes: Local School Plans 9/11 Luncheon for First Responders
Colonial Hill Christian School will serve lunch to Douglas County sheriff's, police and fire personnel.

On Thursday, September 11, the Student Government Association at Colonial Hills Christian School in Lithia Springs will be presenting its 13th annual 9/11 Luncheon for community first responders.
The luncheon is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The school is located at 7131 Mt. Vernon Road near Lithia Springs.
In honor of those responders who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and to recognize those who continue to daily serve our communities, the Student Government Association provides a luncheon each year along with continued outreach to these organizations throughout the school year.

On average, the school will provide lunch for 100-150 members of the Douglasville Police Department, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Douglasville Fire Department on this day.
As a continued remembrance to the courage of those involved in the 9/11 tragedy and the faithful service of those serving in our area, we would like to bring awareness to the importance of encouraging our public servants.
