The <a href="http://www.sheriff.douglas.ga.us/news.html#073014enterauto" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Douglas County Sheriff's Office</a> offered this cautionary story from an arrest it made after a recent car break-in at Alexander High School.Shortly after the July 25 break-in, the victim's financial information was used to make purchases on the Internet. An investigator traced the transaction to a location off Berea Road, where the victim's wallet and property were found. A juvenile female was charged.The Sheriff's Office said this in a news release:"While this appears to be an isolated incident and a crime of opportunity, please remember to place your important articles out of sight and lock your door when you leave your car unattended. This may keep you from being a victim in the future."
