Citizen Outrage Continues Over Higher Taxes!

Last July, Two Douglas County Commissioners, Guider and Mulcare,  and Chairman Tom Worthan outraged Douglas County citizens by passing a 30% Tax Increase,
a very large one time increase, on our citizens which was reported by the Douglas Sentinel at the time. The
Sentinel stated many citizens vowed they would defeat those commissioners in the next election. That election will be held May 20th. Those commissioners did not approve the full tax increase requested at the time and,
it's thought by many, that if they get reelected they'll
pass another tax increase. Our non-profit group has organized a Douglas County Town Hall Meeting to
discuss solutions to avoid further tax increases while at the same time solving our county's financial and economic problems. The Meeting will be held Saturday,
April 26th, from 10AM-12NOON at the Douglas County Library located at 6810 Selman Dr. Douglasville, GA
30134. The Meeting is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Please
plan to attend, as well as, invite everyone you know.
RSVP's are required due to Limited Seating. Please
email RSVP's to randylon@comcast.net
