Cops To Host Trunk-Or-Treat In Douglas Co.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Douglasville Police will come together to host a Halloween trunk-or-treat for the community.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Local authorities are joining forces to bring Douglas County a trunk-or-treat next month, they announced Monday.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Douglasville Police will sponsor the free event from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Douglas County Transportation Center, located at 8800 Dorris Road. The trunk-or-treat will be held as weather permits, organizers say.

"Halloween is better when everyone gets home safe," the sheriff's office wrote in a Facebook post.

"Deputies and officers will be right there handing out treats alongside you. Bring the whole family and let us handle the spooky part," authorities said.
