Coronavirus Suspends Jury Trials For Two Weeks In Douglas County

DOUGLAS COUNTY, MD — Douglas County Chief Superior Court Judge David Emerson issued an order this week that releases all jurors for upcoming trials in Douglas County for the weeks of March 16 and March 23 "out of an abundance of caution due to the coronavirus pandemic."

The Douglas County court system will continue with normal operations during that time. Jury trials will reconvene once additional safety measures have been implemented, according to the county website.
