Eggstravaganza Slated for Sunday
The Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Eggstravaganza on Sunday, March 17, at Boundary Waters Athletic Complex.

It's Egg Hunting Time!
The Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Eggstravaganza on Sunday, March 17, at Boundary Waters Athletic Complex. The event will start promptly at 1 p.m. Hunt times will be staggered between age groups.
The event is for ages 2 to 12. The first age group to hunt will be ages 2 to 4. Hunts will go in order of age. The age categories and field locations are 2 to 4 (Field 1), 5 to 6 (Field 2), 7 to 8 (Field 3), 9 to 10 (Field 4), and 11 to 12 (Field 5).

There will be face painting, magic show, concessions, inflatables, Kona Ice, music and the Easter Bunny will be on location. The cost of the event is free; there will be a small fee for concession items.
Douglas County Parks and Recreation will also hold a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, March 22, at Deer Lick Park. The event will start at 8 p.m. or at dark. Hunt times will be staggered between age groups. This event is for ages 7 to 12. The age categories for this hunt are 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, and 13 to 16.

There will be prize eggs and a visit from the Easter Bunny. You must pre-register for this event. You can register at Deer Lick Park or online at www.douglascountyparks.com.
