Dance Affair owner Brandon Thomas celebrated the opening of his business and new membership with the Douglas County Chamber with a ribbon cutting on Oct. 11. Dance Affair is located at 9459 Highway 5, Suite R.
Dance Affair offers a variety of dance classes for all ages. Dancers can enjoy classes or private lessons in salsa, merengue, cha-cha, tango, waltz, foxtrot, swing and more! Thomas is DVIDA (Dance Vision International Dance Association) certified-a dance organization that promotes the highest level of professionalism in dance education in the country. It is the first uniformed learning system to support dance students, instructors, competitors and studio owners. It is based on the foundation of a dance syllabus that promotes a system of learning that allows dancers to progress from one skill level to the next in an organized and easy to understand way. His other instructor, Cassandra Garcia has trained in 14 different styles of American Smooth/Rhythm dances. With her love for partnership dance she naturally also added the study, instruction and performance of Argentine Tango as well as performance and competition in L.A. Style Salsa.
