Remoshay R. Nelson has been promoted to the rank of first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. Nelson is the chief of media operations assigned to the 436th Airlift Wing at Dover Air Force Base, Del.  The new first lieutenant has served in the military for two years. She is the daughter of Sheritha Nelson and Gregory Polk, both of Young Court, Douglasville. Nelson graduated in 2007 from <a href="https://douglasville.patch.com/listings/douglas-county-high-school" rel="nofollow">Douglas County High School</a>, Douglasville,  and received a bachelor of arts in 2011 from Howard University, Washington, D.C.
