DCSO Investigates 'Violent' Armed Robbery
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said the robbery and attack on July 6 sent a man to the hospital.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a violent armed robbery reported last week in Douglasville.

The Douglas County Sentinel reported on Facebook that the robbery occurred around 3:30 a.m. on July 6 at a home on Mill Glen Drive.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Glenn Daniel told the newspaper “violent force” was used in the attack, in which the suspect(s) stole $3,000 and assaulted a man who lives at the residence. The man was treated and released at the hospital. No description of the suspect(s) was available.
