AT&T U-verse users can view dctv23 on U-verse channel 99.

The complete dctv23 programming line-up is available on all three media platforms at their regular broadcast times, and all programming is also available on demand from dctv23.com for downloading and viewing at any time.

The programming includes live/unedited broadcasts of meetings of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners.

Douglas County Commission Chairman Tom Worthan made the new availability announcement at the beginning of the Tuesday, April 21st, Board meeting. His announcement included a reference to his recent State of the County address during which he promised that the County would communicate with residents in all possible ways, and that the expansion of dctv23 to AT&T U-verse is part of keeping that pledge.

Dctv23 presents a wide range of original programming in addition to the live broadcasts of Commission meetings, including 8700 (County news and interviews), Douglas County News Exchange (people, places and events), Pet Pause (animal adoptions and breed information), Storytime at the Library (children’s stories), District Dialogue (issues show by the District Commissioners on a rotating basis), Insights with Chairman Tom Worthan (issues and interviews), Legally Speaking (legal information for everyday lives), Gesundheit on the Road (the best and most unique things in Douglas County), and dctv23 presents (events, ceremonies, and other interesting happenings), and the Friday Night Drive-in Movie (vintage movies and infomercials).

The channel also daily hosts JobTV, listings of available employment opportunities identified by the Georgia Department of Labor, and displays the Community Bulletin Board with announcements of local meetings and events in between scheduled programming.

dctv23 is a program of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners through its Department of Communications and Community Relations, and Chairman Worthan thanked the Department staff for its hard work in making the milestone occur.
