Deadly Hit-And-Run Being Investigated By State Patrol
A Hiram man was killed Saturday near the intersection of Thornton Road and Factory Shoals Road.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run early Saturday in Douglas County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Marcus Delane Rone, 46, of Hiram, was found alongside the intersection of Thornton Road and Factory Shoals Road at about 6:50 a.m.
Evidence collected at the scene identified the vehicle that struck Rone as an Infiniti FX35, the state patrol said. The vehicle-year model is believed to be between 2009-2011. The vehicle's color is unknown.

The state patrol is asking for the public's help in identifying the vehicle and its driver.
