Douglas County Chief Assistant Solicitor Matthew C. Krull will fill the county's solicitor-general vacancy.

Governor Nathan Deal announced today, on his website, that he has appointed Douglas County Chief Assistant Matthew C. Krull to fill the county’s solicitor-general vacancy. The vacancy was created by the resignation of the Honorable Brian Fortner, effective April 13.

Krull was the chief assistant solicitor of Douglas County and has served as the acting solicitor-general since April. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI.
