Delous 'Dick' D. Wiggins, 80 of Douglasville

Delous “Dick” D. Wiggins, age 80 of Douglasville, passed away,Thursday, September 04, 2014. He was born March 29, 1934 to the late Marvin “Bill” Haynes Wiggins and Mary Lena Duke Wiggins. He was a Veteran of the US Army, and was retired from the Colonial Pipeline Company where he had worked as a Response and Maintenance Supervisor. He was a Mason for over 50 years. Dick was a member of the Prays Mill Baptist Church, an Inactive Deacon and member of the Open Bible Sunday School Class.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Wiggins.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Quakenbush Wiggins of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Todd Eason; sister: Judy Wiggins; brothers and sisters-in-law: Walt and Anne Wiggins, John and Ruby Wiggins, Terry Wiggins; grandchildren: Glen Montcalm and wife Beverly, Blake Montcalm and wife, Nikki, Logan Eason and Reagan Eason.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2:00 PMfrom Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Josh Buice, Rev. Tony Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow in the Prays Mill Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Pallbearers are: Glen Montcalm, Blake Montcalm, Logan Eason, Reagan Eason, Brian Wiggins, Britt Wiggins, DeWayne Wiggins and Shawn Wiggins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Morris Roper, Ralph Brown, Dempsey Ball, Leon Johnston.

The family will receive friends, Friday, September 5, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
