Doris Elizabeth Waller, 85, Dies

Doris Elizabeth Waller, 85 of Charlotte, NC., passed away Friday, Sept. 20, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. She was born Jan. 1, 1928 in Atlanta, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick and Jessie Greer. She was a homemaker and a member of College Park First Methodist Church.

Besides her parents, preceding her in death is husband, William G. Waller Sr.; daughter, Karen Elizabeth Gentry; and three brothers, Jack Greer, Thomas Greer and Frank Greer. Survivors include daughter, Margaret Wilson of Charlotte, NC; son, William G. Waller Jr. of Acworth, Ga; brother, James Greer of James Island, SC; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Crypt side services will be conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. from Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremen, GA., with Michael Lee officiating. The family will receive friends today from 5 till 7 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Calvary Children’s Home at 1430 Lost Mountain Road, Powder Springs, Ga. 30127.
