The Douglas County District Attorney’s Office said Jeffrey Allan Hahn was sentenced by Judge William H. McClain to 15 years, the first three years in prison.

In October 2013, Hahn was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and the GBI for dowloading pornography involving young female children.

“Images and videos were traced back to the Defendant’s computer in his home using the IP Address the images and videos were downloaded to,” the DA’s office said on Facebook. “The Defendant ultimately admitted that he was downloading and looking at the images for his own pleasure for over one year.”

Assistant District Attorney David Emadi said these types of crime are not victim-less crimes, and without people like Hahn, there would be no market for this kind of material and innocent children wouldn’t be sexually abused for profit.

“Protecting the children of Douglas County and the State of Georgia is something we absolutely will not compromise on,” District Attorney Brian Fortner said in a statement. “People like the Defendant encourage and drive the market for this type of sexual abuse, and we will continue to fight against it and hold accountable those individuals who are responsible.”
