
Volunteer at the Animal Shelter: Recruitment Meeting Scheduled 10/8/13
A volunteer recruitment meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Douglas County Animal Shelter, 1755 County Services Rd. off Cedar Mountain Rd. in Douglasville.
Volunteers are needed to perform a variety of services, including pet adoption counselors, shelter greeters, kennel enrichment, socialization and dog walking, assist at community adoption events, helping with animal transport, bathing and grooming, providing basic training to dogs, general or spot cleaning kennels or sharing other skills.
During the meeting, volunteer applications will be available and questions will be answered regarding becoming a shelter volunteer.

Animal shelter volunteers must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
