Douglas County Employees Feast With Sheriff's Office (PHOTOS)

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A Douglas County tradition was carried on Tuesday, when county employees got an early start on Thanksgiving with a feast, courtesy of the sheriff's office.

Each year, the sheriff's office opens its doors to fellow county workers for the pre-Thanksgivig meal. A turkey and dressing lunch, prepared by Mrs. Mitchell and her kitchen staff, was served Tuesday in keeping with the tradition.

"We always enjoy starting off the holiday season with good food and good fellowship," the sheriff's office said in a post on Facebook.
