“In 2019, we completed a renovation of the courthouse for physical security purposes and now we look to continue enhancing our security efforts to protect citizens in a different way, by protecting their data,” Chairman Dr. Romona Jackson Jones, Douglas County Board of Commissioners said. “We have been diligently providing Cyber-Awareness training for our employees, helping provide them the ability to recognize and react to threats both here at work and in life outside the office.”

“Dat has already proven to be a huge asset since joining the IS team,” Martin said. “To have a resource with Dat’s skillset solely focused on cyber-security has been a great benefit. In addition to awareness tips and advice for employees, Dat has already begun to identify areas in need of security improvements and implemented various new security measures, as well as, enhanced various security features that we already had in place.”
