Douglas County Makes Decision On School Tuesday

Douglas County Superintendent Trent North has made the final decision regarding a possible school closure on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — All Douglas County schools will be open Tuesday, Dec. 12, on a regular schedule, the Douglas County School System announced Monday afternoon. The decision came after schools were closed Monday and students were released early Friday due to weather considerations.

The final decision was made by Superintendent Trent North. The school system also reported that all afterschool activities will take place on Dec. 12.

GreyStone linemen assisted by contractors and 11 sister EMCs have brought the number from 40,000 outages at the height of the storm to under 3,600 outages remaining.
