Douglas County Schools Start Two Hours Late On Monday
The delayed start time is due to icy conditions in the area.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglas County Schools will start two hours later than usual on Monday due to icy conditions left over from the weekend's winter storm.
Buses will still be running, but on a schedule two hours behind what's normal, the school system said.
School staff members are asked to report at the normal time.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures in Douglasville were at 29 degrees shortly before 7 p.m. on Sunday. The low was expected to drop to 21 degrees Sunday night, with the forecast calling for a high of 39 degrees on Monday.
