Douglas Donuts Now Open, Offers Fritters, Biscuits And More

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Get ready to dunk Douglasville, there's a new donut shop in town. Douglas Donuts opened Thursday and is located right next to Pizza Buffet, across from Lowe's, at 6920F Douglas Blvd.

According to owner Chhun Bola, the new restaurant has the freshest and the best-tasting donuts in town. The family-owned business has plenty of donut experience, having relocated their business from Marietta to Douglasville. In Marietta the business was known as Dev's Donuts. It was open for three years.

"We're hoping the move improves business," Bola said. "We have a lot of experience and it's really about the bakery. We make everything fresh, by hand, every day."

In addition to donuts, the shop offers fritters, croissants, biscuits and bagels for breakfast and lunch. Smoothies are popular, and don't forget about the ice blend coffees like Mocha, Espresso, Java Chip and Carmel.

Douglas Donuts is open every day of the week, Saturday through Monday, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The grand opening special is: buy a dozen, get two donuts free.
