Douglas Sheriff Seeking Burglary Suspect

The burglar broke into the Marathon gas station in Winston and stole lottery tickets, the sheriff's office says.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a recent burglary at a gas station in Winston.

At about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 11, a burglar wearing a bandanna over his face broke into the Marathon gas station at 9937 Hwy. 166 in Winston. According to the sheriff's office, he stole multiple lottery tickets after breaking into the store.

The suspect in the case is described as a white male, standing between 5'10" and 6'1" and weighing between 165-185 pounds. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt with a yellow Nike logo on it.
