Douglas Walter Strickland Dies
Services and interment will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the New Brooklyn Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Josh Strickland officiating.
Douglas Walter Strickland, of Temple, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, in a Austell health facility. He was born in Carroll County, Dec. 11, 1961, son of Willard Walter Strickland and the late Dorotha Stephens Strickland. Mr. Strickland was employed by Tim’s Auto Service as a mechanic and a member of the New Brooklyn Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children,, Jessica and Eddie Webb, Carrollton, Jason Douglas Strickland of Temple, Jeremy Scott Strickland, Tallapoosa; a grandchild, Kyle Strickland; his father, Willard Walter Strickland of Temple; sisters, Dawn and Brian Rowland of Bowdon, Deanne and Mark Worthy of Tallapoosa; brothers, Leslie Strickland, Carrollton and Larry Wayne Strickland of Carrollton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from noon until 2 p.m.
