Douglasville Apartment Fire Displaces 50
The fire occurred at the Century Arbor Apartments, located on Stewart Parkway.

Fire authorities are investigating a Saturday fire in Douglasville that displaced 50 people and heavily damaged an apartment building, according to media reports.
The fire occurred at the Century Arbor Apartments, located on Stewart Parkway. The Red Cross said 36 units and 50 people were impacted, WSB-TV reported. The building was considered a total loss.
No one was hurt.

The fire was noticed by a Douglasville Police officer around 11:42 a.m., county spokesman Wes Tallon told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Tallon said the fire is believed to have started on the third floor of the building.
The cause is being investigated.
