Douglasville Business Owner Charged With Child Molestation

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A Douglasville business owner is behind bars, being held on child molestation charges.

Joseph Raul Montesdeoca, 49, was arrested Aug. 8 and charged with three counts of child molestation, one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes and one count of criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation.

He is being held without bond at Douglas County Jail.

Douglasville Police officials said the case is still under investigation and, as such, were not releasing any more details about it on Wednesday. Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Detective Victoria Bender at benderv@douglasvillega.gov or at 678-293-1703.

Montesdeoca is owner of JRM Flooring and Design, Inc., an interior design and decorating company located on Cunningham Lane in Douglasville. The website for the company could not be reached Wednesday at the Web address listed on the business's Facebook page.
