DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The City of Douglasville will be ringing in the season on Friday with its annual Christmas parade and tree lighting.

The theme for this year's event is "Miracle on Main Street" and the parade is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Church Street. The tree lighting will be held immediately after the parade and there will be live entertainment following the tree lighting.

The best viewing locations for the parade will be along O'Neal Plaza and at the Douglasville Conference Center, organizers say.
