Douglasville Man Dies in Interstate Wreck in Alabama

He was reportedly not wearing a seat belt during the Monday morning wreck near Jasper.

A Douglasville man was reportedly killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday morning on Interstate 22 in Alabama.

Alabama state troopers said Jeffery Paul Eskew, 62, of Douglasville was driving a 2002 Ford F-150 around 6:15 a.m. near Jasper when he hit a guard rail and overturned, according to AL.com.

He was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said. A passenger in the truck was sent to the hospital.
