Douglasville Mayor And Councilmen Receive Awards

City leaders recently received the awards during the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) "Cities United" Summit.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA—Mayor Rochelle Robinson, Councilman Terry Miller, and Councilman Chris "Coach" Watts received awards at the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) "Cities United" Summit recently.

Mayor Robinson received a certificate of distinction. Mayor Pro Tem Terry Miller received a certificate of achievement and a certificate of completion from the Robert E. Knox, Jr. Municipal Training Institute.

Councilman Watts also received the certificate of completion from the Robert E. Knox, Jr. Municipal Training Institute and a certificate of excellence.

The Robert E. Knox, Jr. Municipal Leadership Institute is an intensive multi-day seminar that focuses on helping city officials enhance and sharpen their leadership skills.

Completion of the Municipal Leadership Institute is required for municipal elected officials to receive a certificate of excellence and certificate of distinction.
