The Douglasville Police Department offered some tongue-in-cheek crime tips on Facebook to make a point about car break-ins.

In brilliant sarcasm, the department gave tips on the best ways to entice a criminal to your vehicle.

1. Don’t lock your car.

2. Leave something valuable in plain site.

4. Don’t park under lights or close to a business at night.

5. Leave a charging cable in plain sight.

Of course, the department wants you to do the opposite of the above tips, and urges you to call 911 if you see something suspicious in your neighborhood.
