Douglasville PD: Use Our Parking Lot for Craigslist Transactions
After the report of a theft this week during a Craigslist deal, the department wanted to remind residents of a safer alternative.

In light of a Wednesday theft during a Craigslist transaction at a local business, the Douglasville Police Department wants you to know there’s a safer place to do your business.

“We encourage persons making transactions of this type to use the police department parking lot, 2083 Fairburn Rd. as the meeting place,” the agency said on Facebook.
Police said a victim’s cell phone was taken during the recent Craigslist theft. The suspect was caught in the woods after running from the scene. The phone was returned.
