Douglasville Police Chief To Hold Public Meeting

"Chat With The Chief" is scheduled for Friday at Arbor Place Mall.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglasville Police Chief Gary Sparks will hold an open chat session with local residents on Friday.

"Chat With The Chief" will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Arbor Place Mall.

Other members of the Douglasville Police Department will be on hand to answer questions as well. Residents are encouraged to bring concerns, questions and comments for the information meet-and-greet.

The meet-up is part of the department's Douglasville Community Outreach Program (DCOP). It's the first of what is scheduled to be several public meetings of the sort.

On Facebook, a department spokesperson said there also will be a town hall-style meeting on February 27 at the police department. That meeting will be at 7 p.m.
