Douglasville Police Department's K9 Unit Excels

We want to give a big shout out to Officer McDonald and his canine partner Fino, as well as the entire Douglasville PD K9 unit. This team puts in thousands of hours of training to remain not only proficient in all of their duties, but to excel in them. In the last month Officer McDonald and Fino have tracked and located three dangerous suspects who fled crime scenes on foot. Two of those happened in one day. Very few dog handlers can say that. We are very proud of them and want to highlight their hard work. Douglasville is a safer place because of them.
