Douglasville Schools: 100,000 Book Initiative Seeks Donations

Books on a 6th Grade level and above are being accepted by the Douglas County School System to be donated to correctional facilities.

The Douglas County School System is joining other districts across the state to help provide books for Georgia correctional facilities though the 100,000 Books Initiative. They are looking for books on a sixth grade reading level and above. They are not collecting children’s books.

Collection boxes for the books will be available in the Central Office through December 19th.
