Tell us about your star student's accomplishments and why they deserve to be recognized on Patch!

Our star student, Giovanni Guerrier, has been a star student since she has been a student! Her academic history has always been high A’s and B’s, both in homeschool and high school. Giovanni works part-time at the local Bi Bop Tea Talk shop, and before there, she helped out with our small in-home family childcare business. She (Giovanni) has a love for learning and teaching young children, especially reading and taking time to know and learn about the individual child (this, I believe, is her passion). Although Giovanni has won numerous awards throughout elementary and high school, she has served in many clubs and community services, as well as being on the local Douglas County Youth Commission. As an upcoming graduate from New Manchester High School, graduating with the Georgia Certificate of Merit, she (Giovanni) was accepted into many colleges, but she (Giovanni) chose Spelman College. As parents, we can go on and on about our child. Giovanni truly deserves the spotlight for all of her hard work and achievements, the seen and unseen.

What three words best describe your star student?
