Douglasville Student Attacked At Bus Stop

Police say the student was waiting for a school bus Friday morning when the man assaulted him.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Police are searching for a grown man they say assaulted a student at a Douglasville school bus stop Friday morning.

At about 7:30 a.m., the student was waiting for the school bus outside his home in the Charlton Crossing subdivision when the man attacked him, police said.

The attacker is described as a man between 30-4o years old with facial stubble, unkempt, bushy hair and sideburns. He had a missing tooth and was last seen wearing a red shirt, a yellow jacket with a reflective green cross on it, dark colored pants and black shoes, one of which had a damaged sole.
